UNO - Undergraduate Neuroscience Organization
Mon, February 8, 5:30pm – 6:30pm
Journalism Building UGA, Room 516
UGA professor, Dr. Fragaszy, guest speaker.
We have a community outreach program called Neuroscience for Kids (N4K) where members of UNO have the opportunity to visit a local elementary school and teach basic concepts and activities pertaining to neuroscience.
We also have an annual philanthropic event called Party for Parkinson's, which benefits the Michael J. Fox Foundation. This is our biggest project and will have many volunteering opportunities for students who are interested.
Required Orientation Sessions
Freshmen, sophomores and other students interested in applying to medical, dental or optometry school are invited to attend an information session that covers the basic credentials for preparing for medical professions. For detailed information go to the Orientations page.
