In her role as Administrative Specialist II, Resa Anderson provides assistance to the Director of the Premedical Studies Program in preparing students for applying to medical, dental, and optometry schools. Students are advised by her on prerequisities for professional schools, preparing for admission tests, and admission application procedures. She is responsible for processing of the thousands of faculty evaluation forms which are then compiled and prepared for submission to professional schools each cycle. She is a co-advisor for Alpha Epsilon Delta, the Premedical Honors Society, and she coordinates many of their events, including initiation and medical admissions committee visits, as well as providing support for many other functions in the office.

Mrs. Anderson has worked for the University since 1999, previously working at the School of Law in their Student Affairs & Registrar department. There she managed student files, transcripts, course registration and the "points" system, certified enrollment and degree verifications, processed character and fitness forms, and also helped coordinate large functions such as 1L Orientation, Friends & Family Day, and Commencement.

Resa recently began her studies in the Master of Public Administration and Policy program here at UGA, and hopes to specialize in Higher Education Administration. In her free time (what little there is), she is an avid runner, a lover of bad television, and a very loud cheerer for the Bulldogs.
