Alpha Epsilon Delta presents
The Medical College of Georgia
School of Medicine Admissions Committee

Some members of the Admissions Committee from the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine, along with a select few medical students, will present a program to premedical students at the University of Georgia on Tuesday, October 6th, 2009.This event will be sponsored by the UGA chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta/ Premed Club and the UGA Premedical Studies Program.

UGA premed students will have a unique opportunity to join the MCG visitors for dinner at 5:30 p.m. at the Georgia Center. The following presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. in Master's Hall, also located in the Georgia Center. The cost of the dinner buffet will be $25.00 for students who are AED members (paid national and local dues) and $30.00 for non-AED members.

Space is limited for the dinner. Tickets will be available for purchase by all students and alumna/e beginning Thursday, September 24th and will continue through Thursday, October 1st, between the hours of 1:00pm-3:00pm. 2010 applicants may wish to plan to purchase their tickets early.

Tickets are non-transferable.

All premedical students, including freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduate students and alumni are welcome to attend the presentation, at no charge, without attending the dinner.  There is no reservation or charge for this second event.  Those attending should plan to arrive at Master's Hall in the Georgia Center for Continuing Education by 7:00.

Dinner Time: 5:30PM.  Please plan to arrive by 5:00pm to pick up your name tag and briefly "meet & greet" before dinner is served.
Dinner Location: The Banquet Rooms at the Georgia Center.  In the main hotel lobby, walk past the gift shop and the Savannah Room until you enter the glass walled hallway to the Magnolia Salons.
Dinner Payment: Please bring check (payable to AED) or money order to purchase tickets in room 111 Memorial Hall between 1 and 3 PM. We are no longer able to accept cash. Cost is $25.00 for AED members and $30.00 for non- members.
Dinner Dress:
  Professional dress for those attending the dinner (coat and tie for men and equivalent dress for women).

Presentation Time:  To begin by 7:00.
Presentation Location:  Master's Hall.  From the South Parking Deck, enter Georgia Center for Continuing Education, walk past Mahler Auditorium on your right, to Master's Hall on your left.  Marquee will announce the presentation.

Free for info session only
Presentation Dress: If not attending dinner, casual dress is acceptable (collared shirt or blouse is suggested).

Graduates (and those not currently in town), should contact the office to make arrangements to mail your check to the address below and pick up your ticket and name tag at the door. Please verify by Monday, October 5th that your payment has been received.
